Profile: [ PROLOGUE ]Prometheus Burning is a female fronted, genre-bending Electro-Industrial band, focusing on experimental vocal structures, aggressive beats, complex rhythms, dark atmospherics, and glitched out electronic noise. Their "cut-n-paste" lyrical style is cryptic but coherent, painting pictures in the minds eye of their listeners. Every song seems to contain a story, a clue, a piece of a much larger puzzle, often referencing the occult, chaos magick, transhumanistic philosophy, and cyberpunk ideals. Inspired by the early Industrial acts of their youth such as Skinny Puppy, Ministry, Download, Pyschic TV, Coil, Throbbing Gristle, Frontline Assembly, and Front 242, Prometheus Burning was created to keep the flame alive. Since 1999 they have been crafting an ever evolving, emotional, experimental, and harsh sound true to the roots of Industrial, yet innovative and expressive enough to push the envelope in a post-Industrial musical era.
